About Me

Hello! My name is Michael Novinson.

I'm a father, neighbor and business reporter ready to earn your vote on Monday, April 7 for a seat on the Seekonk School Committee.

I've met so many wonderful people since moving to Seekonk seven years ago, and want to contribute to the community. My oldest is starting at Aitken in the Fall, while my youngest just turned one.

I've been writing about finance for more than a decade, and believe my profession aligns well with the primary responsibilities of a School Committee member: budget, policy, and evaluating the superintendent.

My youngest won't graduate from Seekonk High until 2042, and I want to ensure our schools are as excellent 17 years from now as they are today.

Let's keep strengthening the Seekonk Public Schools and uplifting every student in our community.
